Oman,Muscat: A’ Saffa Foods, Oman’s fastest growing and leading food producer, has an exciting range of vegetable products under its Khayrat brand. The vegetable products are the latest natural and healthy product the company has made available to families across the nation.

Khayrat Frozen Mixed Vegetables, Khayrat Frozen Green Peas and Khayrat Sweet corn, are handpicked from the best peaking crops and then individually quickly frozen (IQF) to ensure that they maintain their freshness, natural nutrition/ vitamins and are the perfect accompaniment to other protein packed A’Saffa products.   Their entire range consists of some of the freshest picks which include Mixed Vegetables, Green Peas and Sweet Corn.   Commenting on the whole range of products, A’Saffa Foods Head of Marketing and Sales, Sidhartha Lenka said: “Over the past decade families across Oman have trusted us to bring them an exciting range of natural, healthy and protein packed products to the table and we are very proud of our existing range of frozen vegetable and frozen fruit products in the market.   “As with all of our food products, we have undertaken extensive research into the demand for frozen vegetables and are very confident that with the A’Saffa stamp of quality behind them the consumers will welcome the Khayrat Frozen Vegetable and Khayrat frozen fruit & Fruit pulp products into the market. We take great pride in our food and we continue our tradition of serving family-favourite foods that are healthy and wholesome.” He explained that frozen vegetables are in fact one of the healthiest ways for families to get nutrition and vitamins and added that up to 45 per cent of important nutrients can be lost in fresh vegetables by the time they are actually consumed. It can also take up to two weeks for fresh produce to actually reach a family table from being picked and that often fresh vegetables in supermarket are older than consumers actually think.   The findings were part of research that has been undertaken by the Institute of Food Research who state that produce frozen soon after being picked will have more nutrients sealed in.   A’Saffa Foods recognizes the importance and is fully committed to deliver “High Quality” and offers a wide range of innovative products to its consumers and its partners. This commitment is further underlined with the implementation of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) systems.
