A'Saffa Foods reinforces brand strength at Gulfood 2017

Posted on Nov 11, 2019

A’Saffa Foods, Oman’s largest fully integrated poultry project, and the biggest snack food and allied food producer recently participated in ‘Gulfood 2017’, the largest food exhibition in the region that took place recently at the International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Dubai. Visitors and delegates at Gulfood were able to meet A’Saffa Foods representatives, gain first-hand information about the brand’s products and enjoy samples of tasty, satisfying Halal chicken and snacks.

Sidhartha Lenka, Head of Marketing and Sales of A’Saffa Foods said: “Guided by strong religious and social values, rich Omani Culture, uncompromised integrity, excellence and innovation to deliver superior-quality food solutions that are tasty, healthy and nutritious, we participated in the Gulfood 2017 to showcase our entire range of food products. As a leading Omani foods company, it was imperative for us to participate in this international industry exhibition, that brought together prominent business leaders and companies from the food industry across the world.”

He explained, “Gulfood 2017 was the perfect strategic platform to reinforce our position as a preferred choice in the food industry’s poultry, snacks and allied foods segment; and was the ideal venue to connect with suppliers, reinforce our relationship with existing customers, and introduce our brand to other entities in the GCC and MENA region markets, helping us establish new contacts.”

A’Saffa Foods used their participation in the exhibition as an opportunity to promote “A’Saffa”, “Khayrat”, “Taybat” and the recently launched “Ekhtiari” value-added snack food products that are produced at their state-of-the-art, highly automated processing plant in Muscat.

It is noteworthy that A’Saffa fully integrated farm is located in Thumrait on a 40-square kilometre area. Only the best quality fertile eggs from the Parent farms are selected for the hatchery, to ensure that the best chicks go on to the A’Saffa bio-secured farms, where they are raised in a clean, cage-free, ultra-hygienic and climate-controlled diseases free environment. Here, they are raised on a nutrition-rich 100% natural feed of yellow corn and soya from A’Saffa’s own feed mill, with absolutely no steroids, no growth hormones and no animal waste recycled feed substitutes. Only when the chicken reaches the desired weight naturally, are they taken from the farms to the processing plant.
